About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute incident communication plans, ensuring clarity and consistency across internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate with security operations and threat intelligence teams to translate technical findings into actionable, non-technical narratives.
- Serve as the primary liaison for media, regulators, and partner organizations during high‑impact security events.
- Draft and approve incident briefings, press releases, and post‑mortem reports, maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor cross‑functional teams on effective incident communication practices and crisis response protocols.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity incident response or related communications roles.
- Deep understanding of threat intelligence, malware analysis, and security operations workflows.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of managing high‑stakes stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with global incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to distill complex technical details into clear, concise messaging.
