Lead the end‑to‑end vulnerability management program, integrating threat intelligence and AI to prioritize risks, coordinate remediation, and deliver executive insights across a complex academic environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full vulnerability management lifecycle: asset discovery, scanning, risk‑rated prioritization, and remediation coordination.
- Integrate threat intelligence to link vulnerabilities with real‑world adversary activity and refine prioritization.
- Leverage AI/ML techniques to accelerate vulnerability detection, risk scoring, and remediation recommendations.
- Develop and maintain executive‑level reporting dashboards, highlighting trends, risk exposure, and remediation progress.
- Collaborate with academic, administrative, and research computing teams to ensure secure configurations and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management and threat intelligence.
- Proficiency with vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys) and SIEM platforms.
- Hands‑on experience applying AI/ML to security data for risk scoring.
- Strong communication skills for executive reporting and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of academic and research computing environments is a plus.
