About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop cybersecurity capabilities and frameworks aligned with mission‑critical government requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses to inform security controls and mitigation strategies.
- Architect secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and implement Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Develop automation scripts and tools (e.g., Python) to streamline security operations and continuous monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into system development life cycles and ensure compliance with federal standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, risk management, and cloud security.
- Proven expertise with IAM solutions, security frameworks (NIST, RMF), and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Strong programming/scripting skills, preferably Python, for automation and tool development.
- Experience securing government or defense systems and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to translate technical concepts into actionable guidance.
