About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary security advisor for multiple financial services clients, shaping and executing comprehensive security roadmaps.
- Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
- Develop and maintain compliance frameworks (PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2) tailored to client size and regulatory requirements.
- Lead incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and real‑time incident handling across hybrid cloud and on‑prem infrastructures.
- Collaborate with client IT and executive teams to embed security best practices into development, deployment, and operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on advisory and vCISO roles.
- Deep knowledge of security controls, threat intelligence, and emerging attack vectors.
- Hands‑on expertise in cloud security, especially AWS, and secure architecture design.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent) preferred.
