About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of security architectures for autonomous and robotic platforms.
- Conduct comprehensive threat modeling and risk assessments across hardware, software, and cloud environments.
- Provide expert guidance on security controls, compliance, and mitigation strategies for classified projects.
- Collaborate with AI/ML, sensor, and data‑fusion teams to embed security best practices into system design.
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts and tools, primarily using Python.
- Mentor junior security engineers and serve as the primary point of contact for security‑related inquiries.
Requirements
- Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher) and 8+ years of hands‑on cyber security experience.
- Deep expertise in threat modeling frameworks (e.g., STRIDE, ATT&CK) and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proven experience designing and implementing security architectures for cloud‑based and embedded systems.
- Strong programming/scripting skills, preferably Python, for automation and tool development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with AI, sensor, and systems engineering teams.
