Embedded Systems Engineer
Senior engineer specializing in RF, analog/mixed‑signal, and digital hardware design, responsible for creating and characterizing complex hardware architectures to support cyber‑defense software and system modeling.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and prototype RF front‑ends, mixers, amplifiers, and filters for cyber‑resilient systems.
- Develop analog and mixed‑signal circuits, integrating them with digital logic to meet performance and security requirements.
- Perform PCB layout, signal‑integrity analysis, and electromagnetic compatibility testing for high‑frequency designs.
- Collaborate with software and system engineers to create accurate hardware models for co‑simulation and verification.
- Lead hardware characterization, measurement, and debugging using test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of RF/hardware design experience.
- Proficiency in RF circuit design, analog/mixed‑signal design, and digital hardware description (VHDL/Verilog or similar).
- Strong hands‑on experience with PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence) and signal‑integrity/EMI analysis.
- Ability to develop and use Python scripts for modeling, data analysis, and automation of test procedures.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary, security‑focused team.
