Software Engineer
Lead cross‑functional ASIC projects, driving physical design, STA, DFT and packaging teams through tape‑out while troubleshooting complex EDA reports and mentoring engineers on best‑practice methodologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead internal and external teams across physical design, static timing analysis, DFT and packaging to deliver high‑performance ASICs on schedule.
- Own the tape‑out flow, reviewing sign‑off data, identifying hidden design issues in EDA reports, and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and publish application notes and design guidelines to prevent recurring problems and improve future silicon cycles.
- Collaborate with architecture, verification and firmware groups to ensure design intent is maintained throughout implementation.
- Mentor senior and junior engineers, fostering technical depth and best‑practice adoption across the ASIC development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of ASIC development experience with a proven record of multiple successful tape‑outs.
- Deep expertise in physical design, STA, DFT and packaging methodologies, and fluency with leading EDA tools.
- Strong problem‑solving skills; ability to interpret complex sign‑off data and guide teams to effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
