Devops Engineer
Senior engineer responsible for maintaining uptime, reliability, and performance of mission‑critical industrial infrastructure—including chillers, HVAC, compressed air, cranes, and argon distribution—supporting aerospace and defense manufacturing operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous operation and optimal performance of critical infrastructure systems such as process chillers, industrial HVAC, compressed air, crane, and argon distribution networks.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs, predictive analytics, and reliability‑centered maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures using root‑cause analysis, PLC troubleshooting, and control system diagnostics.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and production teams to align infrastructure capabilities with mission‑critical production schedules.
- Lead capital improvement projects, including system upgrades, retrofits, and integration of new technologies while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field; 8+ years of experience in critical industrial infrastructure support.
- Proven expertise in industrial automation, PLC programming, and HVAC/compressed‑air system design and maintenance.
- Strong background in reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, and root‑cause analysis methodologies.
- Experience working in high‑security aerospace or defense manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and project‑management skills.
