About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cost models for large‑scale aerospace programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Apply predictive analytics techniques to forecast project costs, schedule risks, and resource utilization.
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL and Python, creating actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to refine cost assumptions and validate model outputs.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analyses, and executive summaries for senior leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cost engineering or cost analysis within aerospace or defense sectors.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel functions for data manipulation and modeling.
- Strong background in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data visualization.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with project management tools and cost estimation software is a plus.
