Lead design, integration, and commissioning of low‑ and medium‑voltage switchgear for mission‑critical power systems, applying expertise in IEC standards, PLC control, and system‑level protection.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop low‑ and medium‑voltage switchgear solutions for critical power applications, ensuring compliance with IEC and industry standards.
- Lead system‑level integration across electrical, control, and mechanical domains, including transfer schemes and protective relay coordination.
- Create detailed engineering documentation, schematics, and layout drawings using AutoCAD Electrical and related tools.
- Oversee commissioning, testing, and field validation of switchgear installations, troubleshooting real‑world system behavior.
- Provide technical authority and mentorship to cross‑functional teams, supporting manufacturing and field execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience in switchgear design and power system engineering.
- Proven expertise in IEC 61850, protective relays, and PLC programming for control and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with commissioning, fault analysis, and system integration of mission‑critical power equipment.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (or similar CAD tools) and power system analysis software.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary teams.
