Senior Control System Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced control solutions using PLC, SCADA, and HMI technologies to optimize industrial processes and ensure safety and reliability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate PLC and DCS control logic for complex industrial processes.
- Configure and maintain SCADA/HMI systems, ensuring real‑time data visibility and alarm management.
- Collaborate with process engineers to translate functional requirements into robust control strategies.
- Perform root‑cause analysis, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Document control system architecture, programming standards, and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in control system engineering within a manufacturing or process environment.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with safety instrumented systems and compliance with IEC 61508/61511.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work cross‑functionally.
