Senior Consultant role driving test automation initiatives using Selenium and Java, building robust CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with Agile teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous quality delivery.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA leads in Agile ceremonies to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and consume REST APIs for end‑to‑end testing and data validation.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot failures, and drive root‑cause analysis.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in test automation and code quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java for test automation.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with RESTful services, JSON/XML handling, and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high‑quality software.
