Software Engineer
Senior Tax Technology Consultant who partners with internal and client stakeholders to analyze tax processes, design scalable solutions, and implement ERP and cloud‑based tax systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with finance, tax, and IT teams to assess current tax processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Design, configure, and implement tax technology solutions across ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
- Develop data models and SQL queries to integrate tax data with financial systems and ensure accurate reporting.
- Lead end‑to‑end project delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and user training.
- Provide ongoing support and optimization for deployed tax solutions, including cloud‑based services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience implementing tax technology solutions in a consulting or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of tax software (e.g., Vertex, Avalara) and ERP integration.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for financial data.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms and modern integration tools preferred.
