Lead design, implementation and optimization of Order Management Systems for omnichannel retail and e‑commerce, driving integration across supply chain and fulfillment platforms using Java and related technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect end‑to‑end Order Management System solutions that support omnichannel retail, e‑commerce, and fulfillment operations.
- Lead implementation and integration projects, connecting OMS with ERP, WMS, payment gateways, and third‑party logistics providers.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and data flow to improve order accuracy and fulfillment speed.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and roadmaps.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience delivering OMS solutions in retail or e‑commerce environments.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Java (or comparable object‑oriented language) and SQL‑based databases.
- Proven experience integrating OMS with ERP, WMS, payment, and logistics APIs.
- Solid understanding of omnichannel retail processes, supply chain workflows, and fulfillment strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with a track record of leading cross‑functional teams.
