Data Analyst
Senior Consultant/Manager leading advanced data analysis for infrastructure economics, leveraging Python, SQL, statistical modeling and visualization tools to inform policy, investment and pricing decisions in the energy and regulated sectors.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex data analytics projects that support infrastructure policy, investment and pricing strategies for government and private sector clients.
- Develop predictive and econometric models using Python, SQL and statistical techniques to evaluate regulatory reforms and capital allocation decisions.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to translate analytical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including engineers, economists, and technology specialists—to integrate data-driven insights across the full infrastructure project lifecycle.
- Mentor junior analysts, establish best‑practice methodologies, and ensure rigorous data quality and governance standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in advanced data analysis, preferably within infrastructure, energy or regulated industries.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn) and SQL for data extraction, transformation and modeling.
- Strong background in statistical/econometric modeling and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non‑technical senior audiences.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing is a plus.
