About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end IT assurance engagements for banking and capital markets clients, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II, Basel III, and GDPR.
- Design and execute risk‑based audit plans, perform control testing, and develop remediation roadmaps for IT governance, data protection, and cybersecurity.
- Advise on cloud strategy and security architecture, including AWS migration, IAM, and compliance controls, to support digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate IT assurance findings into enterprise risk management and internal audit processes.
- Prepare concise, actionable reports and present findings to senior stakeholders, translating technical insights into business value.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT assurance, audit, or risk management within the financial services sector.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements (MiFID II, Basel III, GDPR) and industry best practices (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services, cloud security controls, and IAM best practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, or related field; professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CRISC) preferred.
