About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Spark on AWS.
- Architect data models and implement ETL processes to integrate disparate data sources into unified data warehouses.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver actionable insights.
- Perform data quality assessments, implement monitoring, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
- Provide technical mentorship and best‑practice guidance to junior engineers and client teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a consulting environment and delivering data solutions to enterprise clients is a plus.
