Software Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end data analytics for agricultural and trading operations, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights and interactive dashboards using Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and R.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, and transform large, heterogeneous datasets from multiple sources to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL and Python.
- Design, build, and publish interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI for cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Apply statistical analysis and modeling techniques in R to uncover trends, forecast demand, and optimize trading strategies.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and domain experts to ensure data quality, integrity, and alignment with business objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating technical insights into clear, actionable business language.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence within the agri‑food or trading sector.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and R, with a strong foundation in statistical analysis.
- Hands‑on experience building scalable data pipelines and automating reporting workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into concise, non‑technical insights.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
