Lead end‑to‑end delivery of data centre capacity projects, overseeing design, construction, budgeting and risk mitigation while coordinating cross‑functional teams and ensuring alignment with AWS infrastructure standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and deliver large‑scale data centre construction projects on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with hardware, network, software, and supply‑chain teams to align design specifications with AWS operational requirements.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost‑control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to construction, permitting, and supply‑chain variability.
- Lead stakeholder communication, providing regular status updates to senior leadership and external partners.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing complex construction projects, preferably in data centre or large‑scale infrastructure environments.
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies, budgeting, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure components and data centre design standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
