Systems Engineer
Lead the design and evolution of end‑to‑end connectivity solutions for Software Defined Vehicles, crafting system architecture, OTA mechanisms, and vehicle‑to‑server communication protocols to enable remote control and wireless updates.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect vehicle remote‑control and connected‑car services for Software Defined Vehicles.
- Analyze requirements and define end‑to‑end system architecture, including server‑to‑vehicle communication scenarios.
- Specify functional requirements for vehicle control features such as door, HVAC, charging, and status monitoring.
- Design integration structures between in‑vehicle modules (TCU, Gateway, ECU) and server systems.
- Define communication protocols, message structures, and OTA package formats for secure data exchange.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system consistency and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in designing connectivity solutions for automotive or IoT platforms.
- Deep knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, 5G/Cellular) and OTA update mechanisms.
- Proficiency in cloud services and distributed system architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on scalability and security.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
