Software Engineer
Lead cloud engineering initiatives, designing and deploying scalable, secure solutions on AWS using Python, Terraform, and Kubernetes, while driving automation and best practices across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain highly available cloud-native applications on AWS, ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, automate deployments via CI/CD pipelines, and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable cloud solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of cloud operations and DevOps practices.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge on cloud best practices, and contribute to the evolution of the organization’s cloud strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud software engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
- Proficiency in Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Deep understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost optimization.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
