Devops Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable cloud platforms using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, driving automation, reliability, and performance for enterprise workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement highly available, secure, and cost‑efficient cloud solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
- Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring seamless scaling, rolling updates, and self‑healing capabilities.
- Develop and maintain IaC pipelines with Terraform, integrating CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD) for rapid, repeatable releases.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to enforce best practices, monitor performance, and troubleshoot incidents.
- Automate operational tasks using Python scripts, Ansible playbooks, and custom tooling to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
- Document architecture, processes, and runbooks, and mentor junior engineers on cloud fundamentals and advanced practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with deep expertise in AWS and Kubernetes.
- Proven track record of building and scaling production workloads using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and familiarity with container orchestration and networking concepts.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and security best practices is a plus.
