About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and automate modular cloud infrastructure for production and non‑production environments using IaC tools such as Terraform.
- Develop and maintain high‑availability and business‑continuity solutions for relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) on AWS and Azure.
- Identify and execute cost‑optimization strategies for compute, storage, and networking resources.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues, track recurring problems, and apply permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into scalable cloud architectures, and document configurations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform (or similar IaC) and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Deep knowledge of relational database administration, performance tuning, and HA setups (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience with Linux environments and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and cost‑management best practices.
