Devops Engineer
Lead cloud infrastructure and automation for a global payments platform, driving reliability, scalability, and security using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS for payment processing services.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform to automate deployments and infrastructure changes.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal resource utilization and zero-downtime rollouts.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enforce best practices, monitor performance, and troubleshoot incidents.
- Implement infrastructure as code, automate scaling, and optimize cost through right-sizing and reserved instance strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps roles, with deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudFormation).
- Proficient in Kubernetes administration, Helm, and container networking.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation and tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
