Data Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable cloud data platforms using AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform, while driving automation and data engineering best practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement highly available, secure cloud data platforms on AWS and Azure, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure as code, enabling repeatable and auditable provisioning.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to build robust data pipelines, data lakes, and analytics solutions using Python and related tools.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies to guarantee platform reliability and rapid incident response.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices across cloud, DevOps, and data domains.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with deep expertise in AWS and Azure services.
- Proven track record managing Kubernetes clusters and developing Terraform infrastructure.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with data engineering frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Spark).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) and container orchestration.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross‑functional teams.
