Security Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring compliance, resilience, and threat mitigation for high‑impact government projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee secure cloud solutions for federal clients, integrating multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and enforce security policies, IAM frameworks, and compliance controls aligned with NIST, FedRAMP, and DoD standards.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security best practices into DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Lead incident response planning, security monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP security services (e.g., IAM, KMS, VPC, Security Center).
- Strong knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
- Proven track record of designing secure, scalable cloud infrastructures for mission‑critical applications.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior staff.
