Systems Engineer
Senior engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and securing a hybrid‑cloud environment on Azure, automating infrastructure, and managing security operations across cloud and on‑premises workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure Azure infrastructure, migrating workloads from on‑premises to Azure and SaaS platforms.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate configuration with PowerShell and Bash scripts.
- Manage cloud security controls, including identity & access management, network segmentation, and threat detection.
- Monitor performance and security events with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and SIEM tools; lead incident response and root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Azure cloud architecture and security operations.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform, PowerShell/Bash, and Linux system administration.
- Deep understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and zero‑trust architectures.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and automated incident response in cloud environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer) are a plus.
