Senior engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining an enterprise forms and integrations platform, delivering high‑impact web data‑collection sites, APIs, and automations while providing technical leadership across the APAC region.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web‑based data‑collection platforms and associated APIs.
- Implement and optimize automated data pipelines and integrations with internal systems.
- Lead technical guidance for a distributed engineering team, ensuring coverage and knowledge sharing across APAC.
- Manage production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement of service reliability.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, high‑performance solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building web applications and APIs using JavaScript/Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure‑as‑code/CI‑CD practices.
- Proven ability to design RESTful services and integrate with third‑party systems.
- Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and incident response in high‑traffic environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
