About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of structural design and assessment for large-scale civil projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct and oversee finite element analysis to validate structural integrity and performance under various load conditions.
- Prepare, review, and author detailed technical reports, design calculations, and project documentation.
- Manage project teams, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate cross-functional collaboration to meet project milestones.
- Engage with clients to understand requirements, present design solutions, and provide expert technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Chartered status with a recognised civil or structural engineering institution (IStructE, ICE, or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in structural design, assessment, and finite element analysis.
- Proven leadership in engineering management and client engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical report writing and stakeholder presentations.
- Ability to think strategically and adapt to evolving project needs in a dynamic environment.
