About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze cell abuse test campaigns to validate battery safety and durability for powertrain applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and data pipelines using Python and related tools.
- Collaborate with powertrain, thermal, and reliability teams to integrate test results into design iterations.
- Interpret test data, generate detailed reports, and recommend design or process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and internal quality procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in battery cell testing, especially abuse testing for automotive powertrains.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and test automation.
- Strong understanding of battery management systems, thermal management, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
