Lead end‑to‑end camera system development for autonomous driving, defining specifications, designing hardware, configuring ISP and SerDes, ensuring high‑speed signal integrity, and architecting multi‑camera synchronization for safety and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define hardware requirements for autonomous driving and driver‑monitoring camera systems.
- Lead hardware design, conduct design reviews, and oversee implementation of camera modules.
- Configure SerDes and bring up ISP for each use case, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Analyze and debug camera issues in test vehicles, providing rapid resolution.
- Architect multi‑camera system architecture, including timing synchronization and signal integrity.
- Design and integrate camera components such as CIS, ISP, SerDes, lens, and IRED.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in camera hardware design for automotive or autonomous platforms.
- Deep knowledge of MIPI standards, video streaming protocols, and high‑speed interface signal integrity.
- Proficiency with ISP configuration, SerDes tuning, and synchronization techniques.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills in a test‑vehicle environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
