Software Engineer
Lead cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and optimize business systems for financial services, leveraging Agile practices, data analysis, and process improvement to drive operational efficiency and strategic outcomes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the end‑to‑end business system strategy for asset management, retirement planning, and insurance domains.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality solutions.
- Conduct data analysis using SQL and reporting tools to identify gaps, monitor performance, and support decision‑making.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis or lead roles within financial services or related industries.
- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, project management, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical skills with hands‑on experience in SQL and data modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP, SAFe) are a plus.
