BI Engineer
Lead data engineering and analytics for AWS Global Network Delivery, building scalable BI solutions with Python, SQL, and AWS services to optimize supply chain and infrastructure operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS Glue/Redshift to ingest, transform, and store large volumes of network and supply‑chain data.
- Build and optimize data models and dashboards in Power BI/Tableau to provide actionable insights for product, engineering, and operations teams.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, TIPMS, network engineers, planners) to define data requirements, validate data quality, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning for data workflows to guarantee reliability and scalability.
- Document data architecture, processes, and best practices; mentor junior engineers on BI and AWS tooling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or BI roles within large, complex environments.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (Glue, Redshift, S3, Athena).
- Strong background in data modeling, ETL design, and dashboard development.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud‑native data platforms and large‑scale data processing is a plus.
