Senior Business Analyst/Systems Analyst with deep capital markets settlement expertise, driving requirements gathering, data modeling, and agile delivery for Fixed Income and Equities settlement platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for settlement processes across Fixed Income and Equities, translating business needs into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to design, develop, and test mission‑critical settlement solutions.
- Perform data analysis, create data models, and write SQL queries to support reporting and system validation.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, maintain product backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Identify process improvements, conduct impact assessments, and support operational excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of business analysis or business systems analysis experience in capital markets, with a focus on settlement workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income and Equities settlement conventions and related regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
- Hands‑on experience with agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and requirement‑management tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of bridging technical and business teams.
