Senior analyst responsible for developing, managing, and reporting multi‑year defense budgets, performing cost‑benefit analysis, and providing data‑driven insights using SAP, Excel, and visualization tools while maintaining required security clearance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and forecast multi‑year budgets for robotic and autonomous defense programs.
- Perform cost analysis, variance tracking, and financial performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Prepare detailed financial models, cost‑benefit studies, and risk assessments to support acquisition decisions.
- Utilize SAP and advanced Excel functions to consolidate data, automate reporting, and ensure data integrity.
- Create visual dashboards and presentations using PowerBI or similar tools to communicate financial insights.
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and contracting officers to align financial plans with technical milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in budget development, cost analysis, and financial management within defense or aerospace sectors.
- Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros, pivot tables), and data‑visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain).
