Software Engineer
Senior Bridge Engineer leading design, analysis, and construction oversight of complex bridge projects using advanced structural software and BIM workflows to deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and structural analysis of bridge projects from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed CAD and BIM models (AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000) to support design intent and construction coordination.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural, geotechnical, and environmental considerations into project deliverables.
- Oversee construction activities, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical issues to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and value engineering recommendations for client presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in bridge design and construction management.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS) and BIM tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of employment is highly desirable.
