Senior engineer responsible for designing and automating functional and non‑functional tests for embedded Bluetooth products, building pytest frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and debugging issues with specialized Bluetooth analysis tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated functional and non‑functional test suites for Silicon Labs' embedded Bluetooth solutions.
- Design robust pytest‑based frameworks and reusable test libraries tailored to Bluetooth feature verification.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous execution, result collection, and reporting.
- Utilize Bluetooth protocol analyzers (e.g., Ellisys) and specialized test equipment to capture, analyze, and debug wireless communication issues.
- Maintain test documentation, test plans, and traceability matrices while continuously improving test coverage and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation for embedded wireless or Bluetooth products.
- Strong proficiency in Python and pytest for building scalable test frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with Bluetooth protocol stacks, test tools, and protocol analyzers.
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git).
- Solid understanding of embedded Linux environments and debugging techniques.
