About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall blockchain architecture, making strategic technical decisions for Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions.
- Design, develop, and audit smart contracts (primarily Solidity) to ensure security, scalability, and gas efficiency.
- Architect and implement custom blockchain protocols and decentralized system components.
- Drive cross‑chain interoperability initiatives, including bridges and multi‑chain communication standards.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of blockchain engineers, fostering best practices and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams to align blockchain solutions with business goals.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in blockchain development and architecture, with a proven track record of delivering production‑grade decentralized applications.
- Deep expertise in Solidity and smart‑contract security patterns, including formal verification and audit processes.
- Strong understanding of consensus mechanisms, Layer 1/Layer 2 scaling solutions, and cross‑chain protocols.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams and driving technical roadmaps.
- Hands‑on experience with cryptographic primitives, distributed ledger technologies, and cloud‑native deployment pipelines.
