About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports that meet stringent DoD and healthcare compliance standards.
- Collaborate with data architects to model enterprise data, ensuring high performance and scalability across cloud platforms.
- Build and optimize ETL processes using SQL and Azure Data Factory, automating data ingestion and transformation workflows.
- Implement security, governance, and audit controls in line with NIST and DoD reference designs.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and conduct code reviews to uphold best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of BI development experience with Power BI and SSRS.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory, DevSecOps pipelines, and cloud security frameworks.
- Knowledge of DoD or healthcare data standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
