Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput Ruby on Rails microservices supporting solar‑energy deployment workflows.
- Architect and implement scalable data models and APIs using PostgreSQL and RESTful principles.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize services in AWS using Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Collaborate with product, front‑end, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive code quality through test‑driven development, code reviews, and continuous integration pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building backend systems with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3) and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design, authentication, and performance tuning.
- Proven ability to work in an agile environment, mentor junior engineers, and deliver production‑ready code.
