About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput backend services that support international money transfer workflows.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data models, APIs, and performance targets for new features.
- Implement robust, scalable microservices using Python and Go, containerized with Docker and orchestrated on Kubernetes.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance by writing efficient SQL queries and managing database migrations.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and incident response to maintain system reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience in a high‑scale fintech or payments environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Go, with a solid understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Deep knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience writing complex SQL queries.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and a passion for building reliable, data‑driven systems.
