About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that ingest, process, and serve analytics data using ClickHouse.
- Implement robust DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code for production deployments.
- Optimize query performance and storage strategies, ensuring low latency and high throughput for large datasets.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to translate analytical requirements into efficient backend solutions.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot production incidents, and continuously improve reliability and observability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency with ClickHouse, SQL, and distributed database concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for performance tuning.
- Effective communication and collaboration in a cross‑functional team.
