About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput backend services in Python and Go that support international money transfer flows.
- Architect and operate cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS, using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability and rapid deployment.
- Implement robust data models and SQL queries, optimizing performance for large transactional datasets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define API contracts, enforce security best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion clean, testable code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and Go.
- Strong background in designing microservices and event‑driven architectures.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda).
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for building secure, scalable systems.
