Backend Engineer
Lead the design and evolution of high‑scale, secure backend services for enterprise customers, leveraging Python, Java, Go, and cloud-native technologies to deliver reliable, compliant solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop distributed microservices that support mission‑critical enterprise features, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define API contracts, data models, and performance benchmarks.
- Implement robust security and compliance controls, including encryption, access management, and audit logging.
- Optimize database schemas and query performance across relational and NoSQL stores.
- Drive continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend development experience with Python, Java, or Go.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proven track record building scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, SQL, and data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
