About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement a core FHIR server from scratch, ensuring compliance with HL7 standards.
- Develop robust, high‑throughput microservices using Kotlin and Spring Boot, exposing clean RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data models, integration patterns, and security requirements for health‑tech applications.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests to guarantee reliability and maintainability.
- Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes, supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in code quality, performance tuning, and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience, with deep expertise in Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of FHIR, HL7 standards, and healthcare data interoperability.
- Proven experience building and scaling microservice architectures, REST APIs, and containerized deployments.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD tooling.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication in English.
