About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services for healthcare applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and expose RESTful APIs that integrate with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data platforms.
- Deploy, monitor, and scale services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement microservice patterns, including service discovery, fault tolerance, and observability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data models, optimize SQL queries, and ensure data security and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development and Spring ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of REST API design, microservices architecture, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services (Compute, Object Storage, Autonomous Database).
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database design, preferably Oracle DB.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and performance tuning in cloud environments.
