Senior DevOps professional with 10+ years of experience designing, automating, and optimizing large‑scale AWS environments, focusing on scalability, security, cost efficiency, and operational excellence using Terraform, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the current AWS environment and recommend architectural improvements for scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Establish and enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, network segmentation, and compliance monitoring.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments and infrastructure updates.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with CloudWatch, GuardDuty, and related services.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to drive a culture of DevOps and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS services and large‑scale cloud architectures.
- Deep expertise in Terraform or comparable IaC frameworks.
- Strong scripting/programming skills, preferably Python or Bash, for automation tasks.
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices in cloud environments.
