Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable AWS cloud solutions for a major financial services provider, leveraging Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and robust security practices to ensure high availability and compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain highly available, secure AWS environments for financial applications.
- Use Terraform to provision infrastructure as code, ensuring repeatable and auditable deployments.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) to automate build, test, and release processes.
- Implement security controls, including IAM, VPC, KMS, and compliance monitoring with CloudWatch and GuardDuty.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize cost.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering, with deep knowledge of core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
- Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and cost‑management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid, collaborative environment.
