About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable AI/ML platforms on AWS, incorporating Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and autonomous AI agents.
- Collaborate with security, networking, data engineering, and application development teams to ensure end‑to‑end compliance, performance, and reliability.
- Develop infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Lead technical integration of generative AI services into enterprise workflows, especially for financial services use cases.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for AI platform governance, cost optimization, and security hardening.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud or platform engineering, with at least 4 years focused on AI/ML and generative AI solutions.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience building RAG systems and AI agents on AWS.
- Strong expertise in AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, EKS, IAM, VPC) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Proficiency in Python for model integration, data pipelines, and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in large enterprise or financial services environments, addressing security, compliance, and networking constraints.
