Lead the design, execution, and analysis of avionics test and integration campaigns for high‑performance re‑entry vehicles, using C/C++, Python, MATLAB, and HIL environments while ensuring compliance with aerospace safety standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for avionics hardware and software, including functional, performance, and environmental testing.
- Design and maintain hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) test rigs and real‑time simulation environments to validate flight‑critical systems.
- Integrate avionics subsystems (navigation, guidance, control, communications) into the vehicle architecture and verify interface compliance.
- Analyze test data, generate reports, and provide root‑cause investigations to drive design improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure adherence to DO‑178C, MIL‑STD‑1553, and other aerospace standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; 7+ years of avionics test and integration experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for test automation and embedded software development.
- Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and data analysis.
- Hands‑on expertise with HIL test systems and real‑time operating environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work with aerospace standards and deliver high‑reliability solutions under tight schedules.
